... all over our patio area and it was so pretty. I definitely wish I could bring one of those trees home with me, but I don't even have to check to know that wouldn't be allowed.

We managed to book a shuttle directly through our resort that would take us to the Cagliari airport (about 2.5 hour drive) and from there we got a taxi from the taxi stand by the arrivals that took us to our hotel in Cagliari. It was by far the easiest transportation day we've had all trip.

Massages, Swimming & Bank Issues

... gave it a perk.

We spent our evening sitting by the main pool again and listening to the music. Because we were half-board we also got free table wine and sparkling water, ...

Our last morning in Rome we went back to Vatican City to check out the line to Saint Peter's Basilica to see if we could get in but unfortunately, it was the largest line we had seen yet. Instead we just took in the view for a couple of minutes and headed back to the hotel to pack up.

We ended up getting a shuttle that we found online to take us ...

... waiter always asked if I was having it today...most days that was a "si"! (yes)

Now the food may be amazing...but here in Italy, its always complemented with wine. I tried some amazing flavours but my favourite here was a local Sardinian wine called "Tanca Farra" from Alghero which is in the North West of the island, and Famous for a place called "Neptunes Caves" dedicated to the God of the Sea. If I was converting it to a wine in Australia, it would ...
