... nice people. A group we had recently which comprised 5 families represented, only one didn't have maids and housekeepers, and various others helpers, around them the whole time in the home world. We haven't been spoken down too at all which is plus. A couple, who are our colleagues in Morzine, had the children who were staying openly referring to them as servants. The scenery was amazing, I even got to see a fair bit of it today as the traffic was so light. ...
Oops, no notes again! Refuge Elena quite new and modern. Large dorms but partitioned into bunks of 4. Located on a high ridge overlooking the valley, where we had a long break and arvo tea. Met some interesting groups of Italians, see the funny hats. It seems that all of Italy has these 2 weeks off, so the trails and refuges are full. Dinner in a lovely dining room, food pasta as usual. ...
