First full day at Chatel. It is so beautiful here. Easy start to the day with beautiful breakfast, and views of the alps. Headed up to the mountain for a skiing lesson at 11am with Fifi. Nice Frenchman who was very patient with us all. Hardest part to start with was the rope pulley getting us back to the top,of the beginners slope. And then on the Sunday we took advantage of the location. Katrina and I rode the ski lift up to the top of the mountain - something much more disconcerting when there's a fifty foot drop onto a concrete carpark rather than lovely soft looking snow.
