The castle was huge the smallest house was smaller than a single box room with a ladder to the bedroom upstairs. That evening, we met up with our Cousins, The Morris'. ... at the entrance way, but with a distinct spin towards quality. I was thrilled to wander in there yesterday and notice hundreds of cases of 2001 Bordeaux Haut Medoc piled shoulder high, at the unbelievable price of €8.95 each. Lovely to see the sun shining, especially when we had such a fantastic view over Lake Geneva from our hotel.

Chillon Castle our first stop - an architectural jewel with over 1000 years of history & the inspiration of many artists & writers.

On to the UNESCO World Heritage listed Lavaux vineyards for a wine tasting at Domaine Daley, then a short distance along the Corniche to Le Baron Tavernier where we enjoyed a fantastic ...
