The idea is to get into Spain today or tomorrow (depending how many beers I have) and get to explore the Basque Country. It's already apparent, the signs are in Spanish here as well and paella is on the menu in most restaurants - mmmmm!

... and want a quiet holiday on the side of a peaceful lake with sandy beaches, forests and flat tarmac cycle pistes for £10 per night here it is. A lake I hear you say? Well I didn't bring a canoe all this way not to use it, so Captain Birdseye and the good ship Venus set sail on our maiden voyage today.
