      ... I wasn't that keen to go inside a grotto. But in we went, all ohhhing and ahhing. It was pretty spectacular inside, a cave inside a cave. Expected to see Johnny Depp or his dad, sorely disappointed on that score. It is very "piratey" around these parts and apparently there is a strong, and long, history of piracy in the region.       ... spectacular. It's limestone cliffs rise from the sea and it too has a pretty special harbour entrance at Bonifacio where the ferry berths. Corsica has been fought over between the French and Italians for many years and the remains of an old fort guard the entrance to Bonifacio's narrow harbour.       Left Sardignia on ferry. Slightly chaotic. Every one wanted to be first except the officials. Didn't arrive until 45 minutes after the allotted time Ba!
