    But it’s all an experience, doing car repairs en français. I’m amazed really, that at half past four on a Friday afternoon a) anyone is up for doing any work, and b) they can whip the wheel off, and the tyre, and fix a puncture, all within about 15 minutes.

    Wednesday was also our chalet hosts day off so we headed out for tea, randomly, to the restaurant where Jonas works. We ate with James and Steph, the other couple staying in our chalet. There's another family in our chalet who are part of a big group so we rarely see them, though we can hear them, they can only communicate by shouting, which has become an amusing part of our day.
