      One week, two hangovers.

So, I've been here a week now. I feel a little bit lost as I'm very much ready to go out and do something and explore and adventure every evening, but because of our location, it's quite difficult to do without relying on someone here that has a car, which is only 2 people. I drove up the mountains to the ski resorts as part of work. I got to see exactly where we would be skiing and it was amazing! Unfortunately, there's no snow yet but we're ...

I want to download movies onto my ipad that I can watch when I'm offline as I only get WIFI when I'm at work. Any ideas anyone?! I just want to be able to be in my room alone sometimes and watch a film! Many suggestions massively appreciated. My sister put on ...

Car unpacked and sold.....26,000km and eight months of loyal service! Now all we have to do is cull all this stuff we have accumulated. We're hoping to find a charity shop in Annecy that will take it all......shoes & clothes, chiller bag, thermos flask, pillows etc etc. The good thing about having a car ...

After lunch, all the girls went shopping and the boys went back to the apartment to relax. It wasn't long though, before we all regrouped at the apartment and had to say goodbye to the Bousigue family. They were the most incredible hosts and we now think of them as our 'French family'. We can't thank them enough for everything they did to ensure our trip was truly amazing. We also can't wait for them to visit us in Australia, hopefully some time soon!

... small frozen leaves, twigs and insects in the walls which have probably been there for thousands of years! INCREDIBLE. We did all breathe a sigh of relief once we had climbed back up the 430 stairs and had our feet back on solid ground!!

When we were back at the top, there was an almighty thunderous echo all around us, which was a small avalanche on the other side of the valley and most of us saw it rolling down ...
