Yesterday we stopped in Bari, Italy. There were a lot of excursion options but we decided to do our own city tour. As soon as we entered the city we noticed the streets were blocked off and there were bails of hay in the corners. We had no clue what was about to happen but we had fun guessing. The whitewashed houses in an arc looked lovely and it was nice wandering the small streets and alleyways. Could see why it is considered one of the prettiest small towns in Italy. Found one cafe open so enjoyed a true ...

... on and went out into the world. I know I looked as miserable as I felt, but I knew I wasn't going to see any of these people on the street ever again, so who cares? I had no WiFi, no phone service, no map, and absolutely no idea where I was going. My body hated me for every step that I took, but I'm an independent biatch and I was on a mission for soup. I found a grocery store, but of course soup just wasn't a thing, so I settled for pasta and by ...
