Not many miles today, about 185 as we have stopped many times. Now in Oklahoma just East of Oklahoma City. We are staying in an old roadside motel and are just going out to drive around the town. Today we have driven through Miami, Chelsea and Stroud. We have also come through Tulsa which is only about 2 hours away (not 24).

... in the middle of a dead town that had no sensors. Just like the one in the movie. Or a motel with a bunch of different little houses ( or cones in the movie). There were old Phillips 66 gas stations and a lot more history. I was passing through the travel hubs of the past. Crusin'en along at 65 parallel to the interstate but way cooler . Overall, it was fantastic to be able to spend time doing whatever I wanted with family. They are so easy-going and made my visit one to remember. It was really nice to see everyone. I look forward to spending more time with them once we are in Georgia.
