... a good sized bird flying nearby and tried to figure out what it was. Kinda looked like a pelican, but was too small and had no pouch. There were quite a few of these birds pacing the ship along with the seagulls. There were so many cargo ships (I counted 19 within sight at one time) and even the Colonel, a paddlewheel that passed VERY close to us.

Annette sat down in a lounge chair and when she glanced to the side saw a very funny little bird ...

... Houston is very bad on Saturday. I’d hate to see it during the week. Well, the Galleria Mall parking is all in parking decks with a maximum height of 8’6". ... around the town which is adorable. They have the headquarters for the Texas Independence Trail in Belville. This was for the civil war between Mexico and Texas to liberate Texas, there are lots of stops on the trail. It has two traffic lights in the whole town. There is a lot of cops in the town for the small population it is. We found a store that sold liquor for the boys and we made our way back home. The street names are so tiny ...

I'm sitting in Exit Row Seat 20C aboard United Airlines Flight 1490, a Boeing 737-800 from San Jose, Costa Rica, to Houston, Texas. My brother, Justin, is sitting to my left in Seat 20A at the left window. My mom is seated across the aisle in 20D. We have the entire Exit Row 20 to ourselves, which is making for a comfy flight.

Got up at 8:40 a.m. at our hotel in San Jose and joined Mom at the breakfast buffet downstairs near the pool. I especially enjoyed the ...
