    The collection is all medieval stuff, and, like I said, it's mostly big pieces that wouldn't physically fit in the display spaces at the Met proper ... or which make more sense in a historical and aesthetic sense to be displayed either together or in close proximity.

    Our airbnb apt host in Medillin, Juan. I really don't know where to begin with this guy. This man made our stay the most memorable EVER. He was so kind and had such a good and genuine heart!     ... to the Empire State building and half way down 34th Street we met the Annual Dykes parade. Colourful, noisy and in your face. The NYPD were there in huge numbers clearing barriers as the march progressed- more of this tomorrow!

    Empire State Building was timed well and we trotted through huge queue ing area v quickly and up to the top. Great views.

    We managed to stay awake long enough to sleep really well.

    Outbound Flight

    ... Center building. It looks even more impressive now that it is almost finished, although there is an awful lot more finishing off work to be done at ground level.

    The journey north to our hotel (just outside Yonkers) was uneventful, and we finally got to there at 5pm (EDT). Not really fancying going out to eat (as were absolutely knackered) we had some crisps and oreos from the hotel's snack bar before getting an early night.
