      ... is beautiful - I could see the mountains surrounding on all sides, with low clouds covering part of them. The city was very clean, and the grocery stores had lots of good organic food, and I have to say I just liked existing there.

      After leaving the Piedmont region of Italy, and before heading back to Geneva for the airport, we made a quick two-day stop in the beautiful French alpine town of Chamonix.       ... bit a couple of the shops had tasting of the gruyere cheeses, they were pretty good. Next stop was Gstaad. Again a very scenic drive. The town was nice, not to the standard of Gruyere but it did have lots of very Swiss buildings. It was then a one and a half hour trip back to Montreux, going up a steep and windy mountain and then down again.
