Our first stop was the famous Monte Carlo Casino, well the foyer only, as the kids were not allowed past the entrance. This didn't really matter as what we wanted to see was outside where the boys were treated to Ferrari's, Porsche's, Aston Martin's, Rolls Royce and Bentley's to name a few, unfortunately there were no Lamborghini's there at the time.

... water showers, overpriced but a pretty entertaining covers group in the bar with a good crowd to watch on the dance floor. Temperature update Hot but sea breeze bearable - only mild overheating in the middle seat. Meal update Second burger night in three days, looking forward to the change to pasta!! ... When we got to the bottom of the stairs, an Italian fellow came up to the Frenchman offering to assist. The Frenchman handed over the suitcase he was helping us with and told us to follow the Italian, which we did.

The Italian was very swift in carrying 2 of the cases up another flight of stairs and pushing them along the platform. The Milan train was in, but the booking I had was for a departure at 10.58am. So guess what? ...
