... that line, however, at least we didn't have to pay for a new ticket!! 49 minutes until our train left, we bought snacks from a convenient store and walked around Sephora to waste time. Our train was finally here! We got on and were headed to Nice! On the train, we listened to music and ate. Nothing to extravagant. After a breakfast at the hotel, we walked to the train station from the hotel. It was a 20min walk through the Old Town of Nice. This was a way to spend time in Monte Carlo, but also a dry run to see what we would need to do the next day with all of our luggage. Travel time to Monaco via train took about 30 minutes with a bunch of stops in between.

You Are My Sunshine, My Only Sunshine!

... the long walks! I had missed the sunshine so much and enjoyed the taste of Italian culture - I'm getting ready for my spring break trip to Rome next weekend! Although my lessons outlined in this post may seem like common sense, we don't get those in all the travel blogs and student backpacking tips. When you travel, travel smart and comfortable. Pickpocketers are the least of your worries. When Alexis fell down, if she would have been alone and terribly hurt herself, ...
