... on, it is Saturday night, and a lot of families in the square. There was a lovely little carousel in the back streets that seemed popular with the kids. ... the Jardin Exotique but you’d be wrong. That garden wasn't getting away from me. We were three quarters of the way there - camera or no camera we’d come too far to turn back.

At the top of the steps we paused briefly before climbing the last hill and that’s when we saw the most incredible view that any tourist could ever imagine anywhere in the entire world – at least, that’s how I remember it and, of course, we had no camera to take photos ...

... atop a very high promontory. After a quick lunch we climbed through the old villages narrow paths and up hundreds of steps, to the top which is some three hundred metres above the ocean. The truly spectacular spot. After more than a few photos, it was back to the car and home to Adam and Debs for dinner, and a musical production put on by Meg and Liam.....
