I managed to get better at skating today, but just as I stopped I over balanced and put my arm out to stop the fall, it was the arm I have had the injury on for the last half of this year. ... bottom and slowing down to reach the carpeted area. She was also getting on the rope lift on her own. She only had a couple of falls, usually due to a traffic jam on the rope lift when one of the kids had fallen over. We determined that in the afternoon we would try to reinforce the snow plough. (Marni had other ideas, but we will come back to that!)

... back to the chalet at 5 again, they had met up with Ruben, whose Dad had already taken him down the blue run Chamois and up the button Chamois lift. So they took Brody down the blue run and up the button lift several times. I missed out seeing that, but would have loved to. Well done Brody!!
This evening we had a relaxing early night, challenging the wifi in the apartment and making plans, whilst sipping on the best homemade mulled wine. ...
... and they were speeding down, virtually in a straight line! Brody was great on the chair lift getting on and off and pretty good at going down too! Not too many falls.
With Marni, we did some short slides from Matt to Nanny, to me on the way down the slope and then Matt took her in between his legs and guided her down. She had a great big smile on her face..."yeah! This is fun! Let's go again!"

Good news to report: By about noon today, Caroline found us a place to stay in St-Jean-de-Maurienne tomorrow night.
It was shaping up to be another hot day with a bunch of climbing on our plates today. After another typical breakfast at the hotel in Annecy, it took a bit of time to get through the city but once at the lake, the way-finding was easy and the views were very pleasant on a beautiful Sunday morning.
