In addition to the directions, the owners offered us crêpes to share-we got to try their caramel, sugar, nutella and chocolate crêpes. Sweet! :) We had dinner on the way back to the hotel. Sahid went for a surf and i enjoyed lunch with my new friends. 3 courses including drinks for 11 ...

... afternoon and nearly everything was shut! Our hotel room looked out over the river, the old town and the cathedral, and after a few beers right near the bridge, Craig cracked up the proprietor with his French language skills.

We'd eaten in restaurants every night so we decided we'd just get a couple of pizzas, and sit on the side of the river and eat, and enjoy the view, before we had an early night, ready for a big day of sightseeing and surf ...

... but it was like walking a toddler, had to look and sniff at everything that moved. Spent a lovely hour catching up before it was time for them to leave, they run a small holiday buisness so had to get back for people coming and going, we have decided to cut our stay here to 2 nights and then go over to their place tomorrow and stay there a night. Now it was getting ...
