Arriving to Phabeni gate at sunrise, as Art and I were heading to the southern camp of Berg-en-dal to go on a three day wilderness walking trail (more on this later), we decided that we should get there by doing a self-drive through part of the massive Krugar park. How massive is it? Well, it's about 350km long by 65 km wide, on average. It contains around 1,600 lions, 8,000 wildebeests, 8,800 white rhino, 7,700 giraffes, 13,000 ...

... thirty people in the street and ask them how they are. How amazing is that! Although there is clearly a little hostility here (until we speak English most people think we are Afrikaaner) people are wonderful.

I don't have much time, but very briefly Michael and I are travelling up to Victoria Falls tomorrow - I'll keep you updated!
