Lunch today is at Tree Groument. I assume we keep eating at all u can eat buffets because it is quicker and allows the most choice for everyone to experience the local cuisine but I am able to eat less and less. Tantrum brewing, I asked Ollie to just double-check that we were definitely going the right way, as the directions we had looked at before made it seem like a 5 minute journey, but he was adamant, so off we went. ... arrived in Iguaza so late Peter had arranged with our hotel for a taxi to meet us at the airport.
In retrospect the cool beginning to our trip enabled us to get a bit climatised before the heat to follow, but torrential rain was a bit of an inconvenience. Portugese was pretty incomprehensible at first, but it looks muchmore like Spanish when its written, and they seemed to understand the few Spanish words we attempted. Wish we knew ...

... However, my friend Laura was kind enough to take me around to a few places. And I enjoyed all of it. On Thursday night she took me to a friend's clothing/household goods/furniture/trendy trinkets store which was hosting a local artist in the art gallery section of the store. It was pretty cool. The artist had some nice work I think mostly in ink and pencil with intricate details when view up close...maybe I'll try to find the name of the store and the artist ...
