    ... Orava Castle, reputed to be the most beautiful castle in Slovakia.

    We hope to find lodging near to the castle so we can visit on foot tomorrow. We first see the imposing 12th century edifice from a sweeping viaduct that takes traffic past the town.     ... we got to the cave. He warned us it would be very difficult and slippery so those who didn't think they could do it should stay back and wait. We all went. In order to get into the cave we had to climb up a ladder. Then there was a chain bolted to the cave walls that we could hold onto and pull ourselves up.     ... After about 2 hours, we found the mountain house where we could use the bathroom and get snacks. That sure was a welcome sight! Since it was only about 11, I just had hot chocolate and apple cake. It was delicious.     Today we left Zakopane and travelled to Budapest. On the way we stopped in Slovakia and did a tank ride. The back of the tank was all open and only had handrails to stand and hold onto. The eccentric driver of the tank, dressed all in army surplus gear, seemed to enjoy scaring us all us much as possible, turning around and smiling while he drove us down huge slopes and through rivers.
