An hour half later I get off e bus not really knowing where to go, but I follow another person and then I hear the thunder of water falling so I guess it's down this way somewhere. Writing this blog a few days late as I've been either too busy or too tired to write anything. My trip to Nikko was a great little journey and a breath of fresh air from Tokyo (literally). I had planned this trip alone at first but thanks to couchsurfing I ended up meeting 8 new friends who joined me on the trip :)

Today confirmed what i knew about Japanese: they are not very fit and ready to walk! After getting the city map from the tourist information and telling the lady we wanted to walk everywhere, she looked horrified. I also noticed that Japanese don't walk up the escalator ever and generally speaking walk very slow.
