This week in BSM we have had Anne and Klaus visit, they arrived with the snow and brought the sun.....we've had 6 consecutive days of sun, the first time this year, which is wonderful to ski in, but does indicate the changing of the seasons, hopefully we'll have one or two more dumps of snow before we leave here in 3 weeks. We also discovered that the local cinema screens movies in English, several times a week, so off we went to see '12 years a slave', and a few days later we thought we'd go and see 'Philomena'. Annecy is a very mixed town, full of apartments, offices and many other things. Many of the people did not speak English very well because it's a small town. The town is built on waterways and it backs up to the Alps.
