... for the season of ice-skating. We then went to an interesting all wooden orthodox cathedral, Zhenkov Cathedral. It was very brightly painted and the interior was beautiful.

We also saw a beautiful monument to the soldiers from Kazakhstan that fought in the "Great Patriotic War" under the leadership of Panfilov.

We are now at the beautiful Intercontinental Hotel in our room. Tonight we will get to sleep in our non-moving beds. Hurrah!!!

... the restaurant building decorated with petroglyphs. The gers a bit simpler and according to Mongoo they were made with cheap felt from China. Really tiny doors and inside the ger even I felt as a hunchback! John not well and he fell asleep straight away while I went to have avery nice and hot shower. Very nice toilet block. ... this aircraft would have been close to 40 years old, maybe even older, and that it definitely belonged in a museum. As we entered the aircraft, it smelt like a museum, and Karen was dumbfounded to find that there were no overhead lockers, no shutters, but instead there were curtains, and the noise was unbearable.
