... Hole, Wyoming, after visiting Grand Teton National Park today. It has been such a beautiful journey through all these iconic American Parks!

Crater Lake is the most stunning blue. The water is so pure you can drink it. The lake is over 1900 feet deep, and an 8 inch disc can be seen at 180 feet below the surface! Quite amazing. We stayed in the park itself overnight, which was a treat.

... trail we saw a yellow bellied marmot then another right after it. A little bit later we came to the end of a camping site. That meant we had about 2.2 left to hike. We came to a river and trailhead then we had 1.7 left the last mile was when we were walking in a meadow, then we made it to the car!!!! That made our total of hiking in the Tetons 35 miles!!! Most of the pictures were taken on the camera so we will update them ...

After returning to the Rocky Mountains, Colter entered the region in 1807 in the vicinity of Togwotee Pass and became the first white American to see the valley. His reports of the valley, the Teton Range and the Yellowstone region to the north were viewed by people of the day with skepticism.
