... observatories. He even built an observatory at TSS. Sam has also been recognized by NASA for a lesson that he wrote on astronomy. He is currently launching a nonprofit organization called Wyoming Stargazing in the hopes to help others explore the extraordinary in the ordinary. If the skies are clear, we will have the opportunity to view the night sky, as well as several planets through telescopes this evening.

We awoke to the sight of snow and wind! After two beautiful days of blue sky, it appeared that we will be experiencing real winter as we headed out on our cross-country ski day. For today, as well as yesterday, we were traveling with the other group that was staying at the TSS, the Ospreys. ... people but the biggest places for miles. There were some great storms in the distance on the way and as the sun was going down an enormous rainbow emerged. Some of the best photos of the whole trip were taken out of the moving car as we crossed the border from Wyoming back into Colorado.

So, the last big trip of the holiday was over. 2 more days in Fort Collins then we leave Olav behind and go back to the UK. Mixed emotions.
