    ... city of Brisbane. Interestingly enough our Garmin GPS took us through the downtown and over the famous Story Bridge. There is a lot of water around and we did tell the GPS to avoid polls so maybe that's why we drove through the CBD. Not too long into our hike - twist - cry of pain - not again.     ... them out of the river channels to the coast in the murky water. We are off to Cairns now where we will take our seven-day dive trip along the outer Great Barrier Reef. Hopefully this dive trip will go better than our diving plans in Port Phillip and Brisbane went. FYI...they still have not seen any great white sharks in Port Phillip.

    ... very embarrassing for Dave, but very enjoyable for the other passengers! However Dave had a go and had to agree it was the most pleasurable massage he'd had...for a long time! On reaching the departure gate, which was Emirates, yey!!! Our names were called over the air, we went over to the desk where they were just checking documents, all ok! Five minutes later we were called again, so back to the desk where they realised they hadn't taken our names off the list! ...

    The best plans are made in the late pm after a couple of rums.
    Long Service Leave is unreal.
    Sleeping during the night is good.
    I don't hate work, I just hate having to work.
    There are equal proportions of Bogans no matter where you go.
    Tritons and Waecos rule. (the 2 things I thought might let me down)
    My kids are awesome.
