    Meeting our family in Perth was truly remarkable. The immediate connection you have with people that you have never met before (or last seen many, many years ago as children) is what makes us "family". Unfortunately, and consequently, this leads to tear-filled farewells, and promises to see each other again.

    ... It might sounds silly but it was a great way to put our minds off of his leave for a bit.Then at 7pm we went to his cousins house, where he left the car. And at 7.30pm we got picked uo by his cousin, who would take us to the airport.
    At the airport I felt pretty strong.Until we finally had to say goodbye, really goodbye... For 6 months :(
    And although I came through that first night reasonably easy, it went downhill after that. I missed ...

    ... and a cut to her lip. Because she had blacked out, we called an ambulance and they took her to hospital for a scan and check up. All good, except for the cuts and bruises, no breaks or fractures - thank goodness. So she came home with us for another night and other than the soreness, she has eaten a good meal and appears to be sleeping well. The photo of the injuries is not flattering so will not post it here !!

    ... and then transported us to the airport.

    This trip will cover our last use of the motor home before we sell it this year in June and it will cover Sth Texas and then follow the coast through Mississippi, Alabama and Sth Florida, then onto Cancun, Cuba and Jamaica before heading home mid April.

    ... this trip however there is **** I can't do. Fray can be firm with cab drivers or hotel people. Fray looks after the tipping. Fray asks about stuff. We both loved walking around neighbourhoods wherever we were, just looking at houses and buildings, listening and talking to people. Neither of us wanted to go to museums or galleries - you can google that stuff. Also, we had a miracle on this trip! I have always suffered from terrible motion sickness but I ...
