    Melbourne to Brisbane.

    Back to Melbourne Airport, car return went well as did check in but flight departure delayed by 40 minutes. Returned to Rendezvous hotel, carried out final shopping for essentials and had dinner at Jim's Place in Queens street.

    Managed to obtain the medications that we pre-ordered and do general shopping needed for cruise. PM walked to South side and had bus tour of city. Dinner in Pig & Whistle, good seafood.

    The worst bit about it was the walk back up the sand dune, it was steep and the sand was soft.
    Were there a while, then we headed back to the 4x4. Another 20 minutes or so and we were back at the beach. The ferry was boarding, but we were allowed to go in the sea for a bit, which was excellent as we were covered in sand!

    ... a small bungalow similar to what he and Sallie rented on Victoria St. (photo) and the location of his 13 room estate, Ungarhem (photo) in the Kelvin Grove suburb. We had a great visit at the exclusive Queensland Club across the street from Parliament and the Queensland Botanic Gardens and a walk through downtown.
