Having finally placed our order, I began to have fun observing the whole scenario and grew more amused rather than confused as the waitress set the ground rules for ordering with the six patrons across the aisle. ... didn’t order any of the specialty of the house, she did reluctantly try some of mine and was forced to admit that it was absolutely delicious. Both of our main dishes were exceptional, although Bree’s confit won out as the dish of the evening. The rain had really picked up at this point and so feeling very full and happy we huddled inside the entry way of the restaurant, waiting for our taxi to bring us back to our home away from home for the night.
Today started with a bit of a sleep in and rain unfortunately. Our first stop today was at Museum de L'Orangerie to see Monet's waterlilies. The 8 large paintings are housed in two large oval shaped rooms, so it feels like you are surrounded by the paintings. ... have ended up with a nice portrait we can frame when we get home. After all that it was about 3:30 so we decided it was time for Dunch (dinner and lunch). We had a couple of pizza's with a side of cider at one of the nearby restaurants. If that is how the french make pizza then I can't wait for Italy! It was so good neither of us wanted to stop eating. Now we're back in our hotel getting ready for Disneyland ...
