Wednesday 9/24 - Our 1st stop today was the Orsay Museum. It seems like it picks up where the Louvre's collection leaves off - French art from the 1800's and early 1900's. Artists like Monet, Degas and Van Gogh, just to name a few, are all featured here. While the Louvre may be more famous, make no mistake, this is a world class museum. Sunday morning we attended a french church service at the beautiful Paroisse St. Sulpice. Through out the morning I couldn't help but wonder how people could worship God with out being mildly distracted by the beauty and ornamentation of the cathedral, however, we were able to partake in the hymns to the best of our abilities and listen to the Word brought to us by the priest.
