Our plan today was to visit the Musee de Cluny which is a short walk from our apartment. This museum is known for its collection of tapestries the most famous of which are known as "The Lady and the Unicorn". Unfortunately, the museum was undergoing a renovation and these tapestries were on loan to the Japanese national museum in Tokyo. The next day we woke up to a blue sky with the sun shining bright and packed the beginnings of a picnic into a large bag and headed for the Eiffel Tower park.
