... just smiled at me and asked what the date was. I said the 9th and she pointed at my ticket and it was booked for the 8th AAARGH! I booked the wrong day. I asked nicely if she could help me out and she was able to at least get us booked for the 5:30 tour and I didn't have to stand in the 4 hour long line. ... most of it and headed to the old quarter for dinner. There was a show on as we arrived. Seemed like medieval play (you know those people who dress up in medieval garb and play with swords etc), but in German, and with fire dancers. The fire dancers were performing for the king for context... Anyway, we have seen better fire dancers in Bali, and so headed though the crowd to a restaurant. ... that was all the town, but either way, we stopped for lunch, we both had Nürnberger Bratwurst with sauerkraut and mustard. Pete had a coke and I had rhabarberschorle , Rhubarb Juice. Why haven't I heard about this? Why don't we have this? Was so good and refreshing. Back down to lower altitude, the temps were in their 30's.
