... the long travel day wore off I started enjoying the experience better. I got pierogies to eat. I enjoyed the historic murals on the 5th level- a long and lustrous history. And the Sox won, so that was good. We always root for the home team. It was Paul Konerko "Piece of Paulie" give away day, so we got a nice souvenir for a player I'd never heard of before. And there were some great fireworks.
In Chicago waiting for my flight to Dublin. Everything is massive here. The parking garage looked like 5 costcos stacked together. Excited to hang out in the Dublin airport and listen to the Irish accents. I'll probably update this blog several more times this ...
... decide to find the start of Route 66 sign. As we are walking through the city we enjoy the architecture that is around us. We meet a friendly lady in a food market and we even see some food trucks. To my excitement, there is a doughnut van. After much "looking" I finally convince Hinesh to share a triple chocolate doughnut. My excited and happy face must have been good advertising as some other people asked me about the doughnut and bought some to try.
