Hungry, we trudged off to Lou's which hosted yet another long line and wait. This is 10pm Sunday night, I think tonight is a tonight Chicago does not sleep. We are able to order take out though, but pizza lovers beware, the deep dish apparently takes 35 minutes to bake, so don't go too hungry =) Cradling our pizza later, we'd return to our hostel to dine in before catching a couple of zzz's before a very early departure back to O'Hare.
... to downtown. I met a girl from my dorm, from California, that came along with me for the day. I knew the first thing I wanted to do, was go to lake Michigan, being a massive Kanye fan, it seemed compulsory as I was in chi town. When arriving, my immediate question "where's the lake then?", all I could see was a beach with what I thought was an ocean washing up on it. Turns out that was Lake Michigan, the way Kanye rapped about 'fireworks ...

Led upstairs to a smaller dining room where four other tables are already enjoying their performances, we try not to be distracted and keep our eyes to ourselves. It isn't easy since the wait staff enunciate every description so clearly (and loudly) that by the end of the night we have heard their lines many times over.

... Basically it's a normal pizza with almost a biscuity textured pastry that was thick and high on the sides. The pizza had the most topping I'd seen since being over here and it was quite nice although the crust was a bit much for me. We then headed to our bike tour we had organised. And as luck would have it it started raining as soon as we got there, it didn't look promising for our tour to stay dry. The tour went along ...
