Today is our one of our down days - a day to sleep in (we did) and relax - which we did big time! Seriously, I don't have much to write about. Let's see, I went to the Activity Center to get a book from their yellow shelf library because I want something to read while laying by the pool.

Jeff went to the workout room while I swam a bit. I went to the pool in the early afternoon because I knew it would be ...

... Bank is a dragon that every ten minutes roars and breathes fire (real fire, you can feel the heat halfway down Diagon Alley!), and inside is the main ride of the area, Escape From Gringotts. Now, we ended up queueing for nearly an hour as the ride broke down, so we were pretty invested in it being worth the wait. It absolutely was. Astounding! it was supposed to be a low season week at the park some of the ride had
between 60-100 minute wait times. Lucky for us they were also the rides we had
fast passed so we were able to breeze right past all of those that were
standing in line. Fast passes are
available to everyone but as we stayed on sight we could book rides 60 days
before arrival, which sounds good in theory but we ...

... a water ride called Ripsaw Falls. After skipping the hour and a half queue, we were on the ride just about to plummet 20 meters into a splash pool when the ride broke down, left on the precipice. Stuck in our seats, some how felt this was calma. Having to wait 10 minutes to be rescued we got more free VIP access tickets to say sorry. Skipped onto the next ride Popeye's river rapids. Upgraded our tickets at 2pm after doing every ride that the Island Resorts has to offer. Wheeled ...

... to be a five-hour drive but I discovered I cannot read German maps very well. Twenty-four hours after leaving Pensacola we were watching the World Cup Spain vs. Holland soccer match with our Dutch friends at their local soccer clubhouse. Holland won which made for a big celebration with lots of beer and American hotdogs! This was the longest day I ever remember, but also one of the best. Our European adventure has ...
