This post is mainly dedicated to my beautiful sisters, Sarah
and Lauren who sent me a very nice birthday package. It was a nice surprise as
I had completely forgotten that they were going to send it, so when Wendy came
home from school and gave it to me I was all smiles. They sent me a letter, a
beautiful card, some nice smelling stuff for my hair and stickers for the
students which I’m sure they ...

    ... repetitive which is good
because it means that I can break it down and teach them each part separately
and It doesn’t take too long. Then once we’ve been through all the verses which
involves, saying the verses, singing the verse twice and then again with music
we sing the whole song once without music and once with music. This takes about
20 minutes and then we play a game, to break it up and to stop the kids from ...

    ... and
different foods however I’ve never been that keen on most of them because they
can look very dodgy. Anyway our first stop in the tour of “Weifang’s famous
foods” was one of these food vendors, it wasn’t a particularly special one, it
didn’t sell any different from the others but we all lined up to get some
anyway. Another custom in china is that if someone invites you out to dinner
they are expected to pay for ...

    ... look tired. It
was incredible, plus half of them were running in jeans or their work uniform
which i have to give them credit for as it would be quite difficult. Feeling glad
that we didn’t do anything irrational involving sports we continued to watch
the remaining races. The students were as equally as fast as the teachers so
watching there races were also interesting however we turned up towards the end
of the days events so we weren’t there for ...

As my first craft activity I’d like to say it went pretty
darn well. I started my first lesson with grade four for the week the same way
I did with my grade three however this time the kids actually knew what
Halloween was, as when I put on my witch hat they all called out “Happy
Halloween”… im not sure whether or not they actually know what Halloween is but
    they understand that it ...
