Hot, bustling, desert meets populous, opulence, decadence, hot. Only a couple of words to describe this city of contrasts. My observation is that local Dubai'ans don't work too ************e taxi driver, or any other blue collar worker for that matter is from Dubai, neibouring Sharjah or for that matter any of the U.A.E. ... it was when I was told this, it really is spectacular. Everything is glamour and luxury at its utmost. Strawberries are dipped in (edible) gold, one-of-a-kind architecture lines the corridors in forms of large fountains and the staff all look as if they should live in a world free from imperfections. Since a child, what I always loved was the huge fish tank of course. One on each side of the reception lines the escalators and keeps you occupied with a huge number ...
