    ... This is where the car really came into it's own. V8 roaring down the freeway (no comment on the speed) top down, wind in your hair, sun shining, bass bouncing! bliss! It was a slightly longer route then required but an opportunity to really enjoy the car.

    We eventually arrived at Universal at about 11am, missed the turning (this place is NOT well signposted despite claims it is) and performed a U-Turn that had our rear bouncing then ...

    ... a princess doll that Ebony picked out for Giaan her cousin but when she got back to the motel she didn’t want to give it up and pack it away, so the next day we bought another one for Giaan and Ebony got to keep the other doll. (the things we do!) We got home about 7.30pm and took off to the shops to get dinner and decided we may as well buy a pram for Ebony that way we have it for the whole holiday.

    ... because I didn't even get to go on any of the rides! Every ride, every attraction and every food stall had a queue at it. The rides were pretty much a 75 minute wait. I got some photos with the Winnie the Pooh characters which really made up for it but even waiting for that took us a good 45 minutes! Apart from that amazing burger (not!) I didn't actually have anything else to eat for the entire day and neither did dad so by the end of it we were worn out and ...

    ... Alamitos and a "Toys 4 Tots" drive to benefit a local Fire or Police Station. Maybe another city? Any patients and/or parents who work in public service?

    I will organize the collection bins, and we need to get the word out via the website, posters, etc. Perhaps an award for bringing in a toy or food for the patients?
