Hotel for the Young Jet Set

This is a contemporary hotel that is geared to the younger jet set. It has a contemporary feel down to the Navigators ( employees) who wear tight hip jeans as their work attire. The service is lacking in some aspects like room service and cleaning. It has a friendly staff who are well-informed about the local sights.

The staff is very friendly and very helpful, the food at the restaurant is delicious, and the rooms are very spacious. The hotel is very beautiful and everyone is very welcoming. I would definitely recommend it to others and come back again.

After an exhausting weekend of packing, re-packing and re-packing again, we closed down the Florida home including putting down the hurricane shutters, jumped in a rental car about 10:00 p.m. and headed to Miami to catch a 11: 50 a.m. Tuesday morning flight from Miami via Houston via London and on to Brussels. The plan on arrival in Brussels is to …

... with a few tables on the street that fit the mould of our success the previous night: the owner was the only waiter, with his mate doing the cooking down in the basement. As the night went on, we could tell he really just loved life. He knew all the locals that walked past - chatting to each of them for a good ten minutes each. People living above the restaurant, and all the surrounding shop/restaurant owners. Again, it seemed, we got lucky and it was amazing. The ...

... in 2008. We had 4 of our Carnet of 10 tickets left - enough to get to Bastille and to Port Arsenel to take the cruise and one ticket each left to come back from Villette.

No fruit or yoghurt this morning as the supermarket closed at 1pm on Sunday – who knew?? So off to La Brioche Doree for our breakfast special of Cappuccino and pastry - an apricot one for me and Pain au Raisin for Doug … delicious!

... top. And then, it took us another hour just to get down. The view was absolutely amazing-even despite the gray, rainy atmosphere. After a tour of the tour (ha, cause tour is "tower" in French, get it?) we headed out to a crepe shop. Long story short, this bunch of American girls ended up shmoozing the owner, and managed to get ourselves on the company Facebook page. Leaving our mark on Paris. After a long day of sightseeing, we were forced to give our feet ...
