Hotel for the Young Jet Set

This is a contemporary hotel that is geared to the younger jet set. It has a contemporary feel down to the Navigators ( employees) who wear tight hip jeans as their work attire. The service is lacking in some aspects like room service and cleaning. It has a friendly staff who are well-informed about the local sights.

The staff is very friendly and very helpful, the food at the restaurant is delicious, and the rooms are very spacious. The hotel is very beautiful and everyone is very welcoming. I would definitely recommend it to others and come back again.

Finally arrived in Paris at about 9.30 am and by 10.30 one of our party had gotten locked in the toilet and security were thinking about taking an axe to the door. ... midday. We had two days of centre court tickets. We didn't realise thought that we weren't able to go into any of the other show courts like we were at the US Open. We could only go into Centre Court and to courts 4-18. So we missed watching Nadal play as well and had to settle for Novak. We left at about 7:30pm so we could get home at a decent hour and because they would have been calling a holt on the game soon anyway seeing as they don't have any lights for night games. It ...

The monument, in an elaboration of a Corinthian column, was designed by the architect Jean-Antoine Alavoine, following a commission from Louis-Philippe: the Place de la Bastille was officially selected as the site on 9 March 1831, and the Citizen-King placed a first stone on 28 July 1831, the anniversary ...

... statues) for 5 minutes when a man stopped and asked me for the time in French. I said 'sorry, only English' and he asked what country I was from. Turned out he was a lawyer called Michele, and he walked with me for about 20 minutes. We talked mainly about Paris, and at one point he pointed at a large sky-scraper and said that it was a ‘scar on the face of Paris’ or something to that affect. I guess Parisians do appreciate the beauty of their ...
