    ... loving the meals I recall so fondly from 20 (!) years ago. Brynn loved the dirty rice, Annie loved the ribs, and Katie loved the smoked sausage. On the road with full tummies, we were back on I-10 east. The girls slept soundly for 90 minutes and somehow we'd all magically digested our lunch enough to be ready for drive-thru milkshakes for snack.     ... The structure is perfectly square with columns on each side. There was a fire caused by lightning in the 1960's completely destroying the building apart from the columns, which the present owner lovingly restored to their former glory, in the new house. We took a few photos across the small lake towards the stunning house, so hope they do it justice.

    Gondolas: We learned that there are 433 gondolas in Venice, not all of which are underway at any given time. Our visit to the gondola fabrication and repair yard gave us a much greater appreciation for the vessel and their operators.
