... white cubic houses have such an elegant simplicity that only becomes apparent when you see them gleaming together in a town. Oia with it’s the houses sitting carefully above the steep rocky cliff face draws a huge crowd at sunset, getting there early and with wine to sustain us we had a peaceful sunset overlooking the town and sea, but looking behind me at the mosh pit of tourists craning cameras around each other I had to wonder if many people’s sunset was as relaxing.
