We finally got back to the hostel hours later than scheduled, grabbed our bags and got on the underground....which is so big that it took 2 hours to get from the city to the airport.....having given up hope we arrived at the airport 50mins before our flight was due to leave....but they still let us on! Very lucky!! Bound for the southern hemisphere, we watched a film, gobbled our food and tried to get some sleep before a 6am arrival in Cairns.
