    ... we've decided to stay put and undertake some chores
    etc. A number of boats have re-anchored and we think we may have dragged up to 10 meters with the strong winds. There's quite a bit of weed on the bottom. Kept an eye out most of the day and feel quite comfortable that we are well dug in as are the boats around us.

    Bonifacio is on the Southern tip of the Island of Corscia and is a French Colony. The town is built on the site of a citadel in the 9th century and sits prominently overlooking the Mediterranean.

    Up at 6am to ensure we get through the rest of Sardinia and across to Corsica before dark. Once again little wind so we motor on up and cruise through the Maddalena's. Very pretty and lots of large expensive yachts floating around. Making good time we head across the Bonafacia Straights and into port.
