Beam reaching quiet peaceful, left the marina a couple of hours ago.
Heading for / towards Spain might stop at port vendres, depends how hungry I get, only got a can of tuna as emergency rations, cant see the Pyrenees its too misty.
Think I can see land ahead, suns just come out, its hard to type boat moving around alot.

Today we woke up quite early as we heard that the Castle gets really busy around midday. So, we got to the castle around 9am, it was lovely and quiet. When inside, we walked around and got chocolate crepes for breakfast by the Roman-Catholic cathedral. We then headed towards the Haunted House that Max had seen the night before but didn't go in. African safari in the South of France

We were recommended to visit an African safari nearby - a drive in and walk thru safari where animals from bears to lions roam freely.

It was an hour's drive and it was an interesting park. The weather was very hot to make it authentic!

We spent the whole afternoon there and drove around twice, the second time the animals were out and waiting to be fed!

We are here for a couple of days and we visited the old city of Carcssonne, famous for its "double walled" fortification - where a city was protected inside them.

It was a hot and sunny day, we walked across from the new city half an hour by foot, and had lunch inside the walls ...

... the mum had 4 panniers as well as the kid.
We had a great ride 20km testing out the bikes which went really well, returning to Catherines place for a swim and eating dried tomatoes from Taggia, blue cheese from Uzes market, some dry bread and a lovely bottle of Rose from a Co-operative in Miramas and some biscuits from Uzes for desert LOL.
Catching the train at 11am tomorrow for Bordeaux Yeah!!!
