... fiddling, during which time Treas had gone to bed in disgust thinking I'm an idiot....(... Also had a great chat to a Dutch couple last night who had been to Aust and also this morning another young Brit/German couple on a couple of BMW cycles who had actually been to Aust and got citizenship, but after almost 12 months and no job, as aeronautical engineers, gave up and went home. They are now planning to emigrate to NZ as they have confirmed work there... One of the fascinating things about what we are doing is that at every stop we meet ...

... restaurant eating mussels in a creamy sauce with pommes fritte and endless baskets of French bread. Oh and a bottle of local white wine that David and I had to get through as Alison, bless her, had offered to drive! Restless sleep led to a slow start for the pack up ready for the big bike ride!!
A nice petit dejeuner from our host Catherine before packing our paniers and the car with what we were not taking on the Big Journee across France.
