... what do you know Myrna walked in to surprise her too. We didn't leave Aunt Donnas until 4 and then we had a dinner date at Cathy and Butches house. Wonderful chicken parm, Caesar salad and some wine made for great time shared with our cousins. Of course we missed the "curfew" again but its been so great catching up with everyone Today we are going to the ocean with cousin Peggy for the day. McConnell was OK but very basic and we seemed to hit some sort of Spanish-american bank holiday so we were soothed to sleep with a lot of very loud Hispanic music from the sound systems of several surrounding pick up trucks. A burly state park ranger turned up a few times to hush things down and kick off people with no passes. Jet lag kicking in again we stopped hearing it and zonked ...

She was quite an amazing character, had completed 1 degree and was onto her ...

Amazingly, the kids also enjoyed Alcatraz - they were engrossed in the audio tour and took a keen interest in history of the place.

Tomorrow, we go on our bicycle tour. We will ride from Fisherman's Wharf, over the Golden Gate Bridge and down to Sausalito. Then depending on how we're going, we'll either ride back or catch the ferry back over. That should be super exciting.
