Some excursions around San Rafael. We drove to Muir Woods, towering Redwood trees, and to Petaluma, where we spent some time in the garden of the local bus supervisor from San Rafael. Amazingly, the kids also enjoyed Alcatraz - they were engrossed in the audio tour and took a keen interest in history of the place.
Tomorrow, we go on our bicycle tour. We will ride from Fisherman's Wharf, over the Golden Gate Bridge and down to Sausalito. Then depending on how we're going, we'll either ride back or catch the ferry back over. That should be super exciting.
