    ... the opposite direction at that moment! Back on track, we found the aire. Good facilities, plenty of space, but soulless, hot and lacking shade.

    ... flavorful rice and dotted with mussels, clams, white fish, cuttlefish, squid, langostino, a piece of chicken and a shell fish we had never seen before. It was about four inches long and a half inch wide. A small but tasty bite. We couldn't possibly eat it all, but we gave it a good effort.

    ... keep, the battlements, drawbridges, the royal suites, the parade grounds, all a warren of stone stairs, massive gates and towers. It was fascinating, all this on a high rock base surrounded on three sides by the bay. Jan loved the views and the shuttered faceted windows with stone window seats in the regal digs especially.
