Day two of our orientation trip consisted of going to a vineyard for some wine tasting at Vini Marino Wine farm and then heading to a buffalo farm, Caseificio Vannulo Mozzarella di Bufala , where we sampled some fresh mozzarella made with buffalo milk. The wine was good, with the farm on the side of a ...

It's a slow start this morning as Lesley and James sleep off their jetlag and a weekend of weddings. Once they miss breakfast and head over to the apartment for a colazione, we decide that this would be the perfect day to wander about town, get our bearings, and shop. We tour the quiet, lazy streets and alleys all the way to the source of the Biferno river on the SE side of town. The boulders are cleaned up from last time, but the safety fences ...
