      Sunday October 26th

      This morning we went to Patinella Angela's place which was actually at Elena’s house. She is a psychiatrist and clearly well off. Her house was big and lovely and they are also building an added shop/apartment nearby as an investment. Her husband Peppino, although in a wheel chair, is animated and very outgoing. Thursday morning brought a visit to the forest with 3 park guides.  The students had the opportunity to enjoy nature through a variety of activities - one of which I shared that night with Shannon, the director of Shady Creek because it was so cool!  For my friends who are going there this year, let me know if you get to climb the trees with a magic rope!
