    ... stop was a little bar for a quick 15 mins about an hour after driving and we had a cappuccino and an espresso. We were then back on the road traveling south. After a couple more hours of traveling out we started to see the beautiful coastline and after winding down and around the countryside we settled in the coast of amalfi for an hour to explore.     ... drinking Changs from the jungle version of 7/11, cooking with the locals, swimming at waterfalls, listening to the singing of the village kids and we finished off with very relaxing bamboo rafting. The hiking was amazing and the group was great. Besides constantly laughing, I also finally had some good conversations, chats that were way past the 'where're you from' question. After three great days we returned to Chiang Mai for one last night together. A night of ladyboys, ...

    ... a campsite just outside Pescasseroli heading towards what in winter is the ski station. The weather is hot and sunny and after siesta, we walked back towards the town centre to have a mooch around and find the tourist information centre. Pescasseroli isn't perched on a hill but is still pretty enough in its own way. It seems to be mainly geared up for the ski season. The tourist information was closed so we had an ice cream and headed back to the campsite.

    ... at you and steal all of you money, so I devised a cunning plan to have some cash in my pocket that was zipped, cash in my shoe and cash in our bag. I wore my pack on my front to be ready for anything. We walked to the railway station( about a block) and I was prepared with the "**** you look" but the station was almost empty.     ... time he visits it. He was so pleased we had found it when we got back to the campsite.

    This evening we ate out at Il Refugio restaurant owned by Mario and his wife. Had a simple but excellent meal, managing both a primo course (I had ravioli in a lovely creamy sauce) and a secondo course of grilled pork with a mixed veg side of courgettes and aubergines.
