      ... was nice to hear stories from Zia Rosinella and Ninatta about where they played, who lived there etc. Later on Doriano arrived and we all had a big chat. After this we then went to Dad’s house which Craig and I remembered better. It is more ruined but in much better condition than Mum’s place. It hasn’t sold and not many people live there now.       Is it sad how happy I am that my months of research putting together my little Campobasso guide book, and accompanying city map, have finally paid off? It came in REALLY handy - almost as handy as the map of Boiano would've been if I had actually printed it - but I digress.

      Of course, what better way to start the trip than to have our train to Campobasso show up 45 minutes later than scheduled. That's ok, it's enough time ...

      ... explain all the types of nougat they make and sell, making an effort for us in her broken English. She offered us samples, and talked of her sister in Toronto - everyone here has at least one relative in Toronto. We left with bags full of long bars of torrone, little bit-sized bonbons and chocolate. We should be good for a while.
