Our campsite in Menton (a very charming little town only a couple kms from the Italian border) had a lovely position perched on a hill, with lots of shady trees, and some ocean glimpses. We were so impressed with the location of the site (not so much the facilities), that we immediately checked ourselves in for two nights. Plus, the weather was perfect, and that was something we were desperate for!
