    After a good sleep in our air conditioned bungalow we had homemade breakfast and caught a 9 am shuttle from the campground directly to the Vatican. We soon learned from a man selling coverings on the street near the entrance to the Vatican that we would not be allowed in without first covering our knees and shoulders.     Bit of an early start again today to catch an 8:30 train to Milan en route to Rome. Had breakfast on the train using groceries we picked up yesterday. In Milan we needed to get from one station to another in order to catch our connecting train to Rome. Easiest option was the Metro.
