... down in a square in Milan.
It was wild rocky country and is ski fields in winter. It was cold up there with chilly wind.
We took about an hour and a half to return through villages, wild landscape and fields. It is a very picturesque part of Italy. A varied and very enjoyable day....again.
Dinner was at the monastery and was four courses. The prosciutto has been varied and very good. Dinner was very tasty but too much food. Bed at 11pm.
... while Derek, Gerry and Neil walked up to an old castle above the monastery. Our room is basic But comfortable with a mezzanine floor where we sleep.Derek dropped the soap in the shower and had to open the door and get out to retrieve it.
We met at 7pm for drinks and a four course dinner was served at 8pm. Beautiful antipasto of local product, pasta, pork with potato and a cake slice. All very good fun as usual.
Bed by 10.30.
There were several reasons for our trip to Italy. Adventure, yes. New experiences, sure. Relaxation,...eventually. It's a good thing Noah and I both are so relaxed when we are out of out element! The brothers and sisters were so warm and kind to us. One brother spoke a little English and helped us along. Hello Everyone. Today we had to pack up and leave our gorgeous apartment in the Amalfi Coast. We decided to visit Positano and the ceramics shop which has made all the gorgeous tiles and pottery in this apartment. The shop is amazing and has been in the same family for 4 genertions.
