campsite a bit disappointing compared with what we have been at on our travels so far. Not overly friendly, seems more focussed towards French clientele. The surrounds and scenery are beautiful, mountains as far as can be seen. Must be excellent for winter ski season too. Hot still. Summer has certainly hit! ...

... is a tiny tourist office and it gave us walks and cycle info so tomorrow we will explore further. A small bakers and a mini market are still running and appear to be doing just enough business. ... along the way. The Eurostar is like catching a plane, checked and strapped in, we zoom off through the countryside, under the Chunnel for Paris. I have decided to take a taxi from Paris Nord to Gare de Lyon...so It's a lengthy queue for the taxi. My taxi driver is friendly, and we have a conversation in French with a few English words when my French fails. ... we got a big shower and the rest of the day the sun and rain took their turn. We arrived at 5:10 pm at Bellerive-sue-Allier which actually is just over the bridge from Vichy.
