... what's new there?) but there is talk of Switzerland if only for a drive through, so close to the border and Basle are we. But before we do that I'd have to check internet and Swiss driving rules. I know it's lights on as a law but if it's snow chains too then we can't risk it. We can't afford a haircut in Switzerland, let alone a fine. campsite a bit disappointing compared with what we have been at on our travels so far. Not overly friendly, seems more focussed towards French clientele. The surrounds and scenery are beautiful, mountains as far as can be seen. Must be excellent for winter ski season too. Hot still. Summer has certainly hit! ...

... is a tiny tourist office and it gave us walks and cycle info so tomorrow we will explore further. A small bakers and a mini market are still running and appear to be doing just enough business. ... but I can walk from the station, and hit the old town. Most places are closing...but I find a couple of bars open. I cant really find everyone out and about as we saw in Croatia...but the rose is very drinkable, and reasonably priced! And the weather is delightful...it is in the 20's, a lovely balmy summer evening, and the light goes on and on. ... of half an hour where we discovered lots of different water sources, no surprise thinking that this area has the famous Vittel sources! Than we went to bed and watched an episode of the Arrow. 12th We had a good sleep, had our first breakfast in the sun and left around 10:30.
