The encoteca are often in the oldest public building (castle or church) in the village and they literally do look like libraries with shelves up to the ceiling full of wine , all classified into grape types, with ...

We weaved our way up the street to La Miraja di Gatti Eugenio for lunch. For 20 euros we were given antipasti, two courses and dessert plus wine - great food and great value. Instead of pasta I had asparagus risotto (delicious) and while everyone ...
