I'm in Casablanca now, it's 31°, Nantes was 12 °. It's brown like Australia, France was lush and green,I don't suppose they have great tasting strawberries here. How odd, this morning I was wandering around the market in La Boule, now Casablanca. Two hours flight and the world has completely changed, it's not like this in Australia! Waiting for Dad (Chris), I haven't heard from him. I wrote an email on Friday, no response. Hope all is ...

On our way to Nantes our changeable, cooler weather nececitated trying out our new MEC rain hats which we now love! At an afternoon stop for "un cafe" we met a newly retired Frenchman celebrating his 65th that day by starting his cross Europe solo ...

... br> there is the most enormous mechanical elephant and
I mean truly enormous!!
It's about three stories high and slowly moves along
the dock carrying people

hard to describe it's just one of those things that needs to be seen.

Off
to the coast tomorrow, lets see how the pensioners get on with the
new sat nav.

Besides, we already saw his grave at the chateau so really we got the important bit right? Tomorrow we head back to Nantes for the day as we have a flight leaving from there at 6am (ugh!) on Saturday. Hopefully we'll be able to catch the Elephant museum and actually go inside if it's not too crazy. Then it's off to Tenerife to (fingers crossed) get some sun! ...

Last time I was here, I couldn't walk yet. Now I can, yey!!

The Christmas market is so cool. Lots of people offering all kinds of stuff. I got to try roasted Chestnuts, sugar pretzels, and all sort of treats.

The lights are even prettier, but I wasn't allow to put them in my mouth. Bummer.
