Naples, Amalfi coast and Paestum temples
We got up Wednesday morning early to catch the boat to Naples. We found the bus to the Archaeological museum and headed there. There are alot of frescoes, mosaics, pottery and statues from Pompeii. There was a mosaic there that had over a million pieces of tile about 1/16x1/16 each. Its amazing that so much stuff survived the volcano.

Oh! Campania!!
Oh! Campania! Site of the best Saturday of my life, hands down.

Time for a rest . This Blogging is hard work!

Climbed up the steps to get to the main road - very steep. I walked and walked (nothing tied up with the map!) all the signs dispappeared. The road took me through a residential area - lots ...
On to Verona & Lake Como
We're leaving our lovely hotel at Lake Garda :-( But on to the next phase of the adventure.
Today we're heading to Lake Como, but first we have a half day visit to Verona.
I booked myself on to the walking city tour - I think half the group have done the same thing. Always handy to have the guided tour to find your way round first & learn a little about the history of the city.
We arrive in Verona at ...
