    Following that a couple of the less far sighted travellers slipped out to purchase new outfits shedding thick Southern hemisphere garb for more sensible attire. Non-judgemental Andy went all retro with yet another pair of cargo shorts and George Clooney came out in sartorial splendour with a totally new Armani outfit, fully colour co-ordinated of course with his greying tresses.

    ... 160;We noted how quite and peaceful everything was at such an early time.   It turns out there was a large Expo taking place while we were in Milan and for this reason the Duomo was charging for admittance which was atypical.  We bought a ticket for admittance and a lift ticket to the top terrace to walk around.  This ended up being about the same amount as we anticipated as we weren't charged 2 euro to take pictures and this was the same cost for admittance. ...
