The heat was intense in Venice and Verona and we thought that as good insurance, if you have the option, accommodation with a pool would have been great. Went for a walk upstairs to see the sunset, Tim went down to the street, they were having some sort of youth activity & showing video onto the side of the basilica, glorious night, bed early long day tomorrow.
An easy lazy day getting ready for the late afternoon wedding. Drove into town for Jane to get coiffured and by then it was lunchtime so wandered around the corner and saw an impressive looking, busy restaurant called Bistrot with a Michelin sticker on the outside and filled with Japanese.
