... br> By now it was looking a bit overcast, so we walked all the way back up the hill. We couldn't even move on along the coast as the Campsite had our ACSI card and reception was closed until at least 3pm. So we decided to have an' ordinary' housework Sunday and then watched 4 episodes of Happy Valley that we missed when away in May!!

We had a lovely stroll around and sat in the sun and had our lunch. Then we had to walk the 1500m back up the hill to the MH - and surprise, surprise -the maid hadn't done the washing!

Sad to leave Monte Carlo we headed off to Saint-Tropez along the coastal road, suddenly the pace of life increased, a beautiful road but bumper to bumper and the closer to St Tropez the busier it got. Relieved to check-in at The Hôtel de Paris, a very modern and chic hotel, we headed off to the roof top pool. We had read with fascination ...

... ordered a cake at the last minute - they weren't certain they could accommodate this request, but with grace and style, the chef came through! The coffee chocolate torte was divine!!!

After dinner we had cocktails at the Insignia lounge and "enjoyed" the show. Oceania is known for many things, but entertainment is NOT one of them. That's all I have to say about that!

Another late night, off to bed for tomorrow we arrive in ...

... rich and famous; it turns out to be a pretty little village on the sea but very small. The harbour was filled with multi-million dollar yachts but we didn't recognize any celebrities. We also climbed up to the Citadelle, which has some amazing views of the surrounding area.
