Early this morning, the ship needed to vacate its port berth in favour of Oceania Marina – we were to be ferried in by tender during the day – or at least that's what we thought.

We discovered on waking, that the swell was too strong to anchor and, instead, the ship would slowly cruise around in circles allowing the tenders to shimmy along side.

The establishments are greatt, and the music selection is very entertaining, but it can be quite annoying when the exclusivity of these places make it difficult to enjoy time with you friends without having to spend exuberant amounts of doughhh! Evenstill, Cannes up stands up to its name as a town for flash and class!

... we wandered around some more, saw the old harbor fortifications and then headed back to the bus. We needed our rest, because Monday we took our placement test for our French classes. Oh my.

So this morning I woke up at 7:00… OK I know that’s not believable. That’s when my alarm went off. I got up around 7:20. Had to get ready, eat a good breakfast and walk all the way to the campus by 9:00 for our French test. ...
