... expectation was that it would be a bit like a tacky Marbs or similar. In fact what we found was quite the opposite. ... we were at anchor during the day, we didn't get to explore. I saw Andy briefly on his tender, which was a cool surprise! We still got the chance to get off the boat at night, as the guests would always go partying after dinner. Joe, the chef and I became really close in this time.. We were each other's only support.

... we were a week too early for this. I can imagine the atmosphere for the festival is fantastic and I would definitely head back here - when not on a budget!

... the gulf, which is like a mini Venice. Canals lined with 2 and 3 level houses and units all joined together, where you can moor your boat right outside the living room. Some of the canals were lined with restaurants so you could step off the boat into the restaurant. What a delightful place.
