We're on our way to Italy for the next month and stopped for the night in Bellinzona in the Swiss Alps, we are only an half hours drive from Lake Lugano which we'll visit tomorrow. The first snow of the year fell last night, but I don't think anyone here gets to excited about it, as most of the hotels seem to be closed until the 4th December!

... was out and we got a glimpse of what Como must really be like in the summer. It was marvelous and the town Duomo in the centre was a sight to see. We wandered around the streets taking in all we missed over the last two days and sat outside a café eating Croissants and drinking orange juice people watching. ... La Darsena at 8pm. We were just seated and looking at menu when in walked Peter and Edwina so we changed our tables to sit together. Very relaxed atmosphere with beautiful food. Tried Aperoll as an aperitif as recommended by Edwina. Looked like Tizer! Had pumpkin risotto with venison to start, Stu had lentil with sausage soup. Followed by duck and steak.
