... lens after this trip, as I can’t even take proper pictures of these things!

I found out the next morning that Kristi had taken Alex to get a crepe on the way back. Apparently both kids were in need of a little personal time with mom and dad, because we both got unsolicited an unsolicited “thank you” and “I love you” from each of the kids for getting him a crepe and for letting Samantha stay up “with the big kids”. ...

... a ministry based on peace, simplicity and kindness.

So, when St. Francis died in 1226, he asked his followers to refrain from building ornate, excessive monuments to his memory. ... tourist area. It was so light and tasty! Our last night we went to the popular restaurant in a cave. The food and wine were so good that when Karen took a bite of the chocolate desert, she couldn't help but laugh. Ridiculously delicious!!

From the wonderful people, the great food and meandering in Etruscan ruins, this city will always have a special place in our hearts.

    Ciao Orvieto!

Went on a one day pilgrimage with my school to Assisi to learn about the life of St. Francis of Assisi. Another beautiful town. I got to see where St. Francis was buried as well as the cross he was praying to when he decided to become a saint. I was not able to take pictures ...
